Yami Gautam: 'A Thursday' changed my career


Yami Gautam celebrated the second anniversary of her vigilante thriller 'A Thursday' on Saturday, thankful for being a part of the project that changed her career. 'A Thursday' stars Yami as Naina Jaiswal, a play school teacher who holds 13 children hostage, creating suspense throughout the story.

As the film completes its two-year milestone, Yami reflects on the journey, admitting 'A Guruvarame' played a pivotal role in changing the trajectory of her career. Taking to Instagram Stories, she shared the poster and wrote: "The film that changed my career again." 

The 'Kaabil' fame actress congratulated the director, producers, cast, crew and audience. She added: "Thank you to my director, producers, cast, crew & audience. #2YearsOfAThursday."


Directed by Behzad Khambata, 'A Guruvarame', and produced by RSVP Movies, also stars Atul Kulkarni, Neha Dhupia, Dimple Kapadia and Karanveer Sharma in pivotal roles.


Yami was last seen in the comedy drama 'OMG 2' opposite Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi.
