Neha Harsora talks about how she adopted the Marathi lingo for 'Udne Ki Asha' as she is a Gujarati

Television actress Neha Harsora talks about the challenges she faced while preparing for her role in the show 'Udne Ki Asha'. After doing shows like Dhruv Tara, Raj Mahal discusses how Neha's role in 'Udne Ki Asha was different from them: "This show I was around for 1 1/2 years. In them, I immersed myself in period dramas with completely different dress, language and style.

“I was wearing a lehenga and heavy jewellery, speaking in a more traditional and heavy Hindi. Today, it's a social show where people relate to the story, which is very interesting."

Discussing the difficulties of landing a lead role early in her acting career in a big show like 'Udne Ki Asha', Neha said: "It was challenging to play the lead role in Star Plus. I auditioned extensively before trying for Saili. Later, I got a call for a mock shoot. Later, I came to know that I have been locked out of the show. I am very happy and excited to get this opportunity."

Sharing her struggles to land the positive lead in the show after playing the negative lead, she said: "People can typecast artistes, but it depends on how you approach your roles. Being open to different roles makes it easier to immerse yourself in any role. I Didn't face much typecasting; I auditioned for different roles after leaving Dhruva Tara. It works both ways."
